Traditionally every winter we have a Hubertus hunt. In the old days, #HubertusHunt was a race on the horses to purse a fox, now it is only symbolic a fox tail is pined on the shoulder of the leading rider. The race involves a lot of jumps, water crossing and hurdles. It is a beautiful sport but often can be dangerous.
I love the fact that the winter hunts are very Christmas inspired, where riders are wearing Santa hats and some of the horses are having ‘reindeer horns’. So if you love horses and race, you enjoy nature and family, this would be something for you. You can read more about the Hubertus hunt here.
