About New Year’s Eve 2015 …
This year celebration was a bit different for us, we actually were celebrating New Years Eve together with our friends here in Denmark. I could not sleep that day, so I woke up like at 5 am and I could see the beautiful sunrise. Anyhow the day was long, and we were headed to small coats city. We ordered New Years Eve ‘take away menu’ from the local restaurant. Also we brought our own wine, yes …. and the party could start! Well, it was just a cosy night with bunch of friends.
There was no rush to prepare New Years Eve dinner, we ordered our food from this place. I have to say it was so convenient, no stress in the kitchen and every single dish was tasting great.
Fist we got our amusé, lobster mousse with pumpkin bits.
Second we got a little pocket with lightly smoked haddock, which was tasting great but it was quite a big starter for me.
Then we got beef fillet with apple, artichoke and potatoes with bacon and mushroom souce. I believe this dish was everyones favourite. And lastly, the desert was served – and to be honest, I just had a bit of it, because by that time I could not eat anymore. The desert was white chocolate and citron cake, with lost of goodies … yam.
Some of you who follow me on Instagram, might already know that we have a passion for very good french wine. Here is what we brought with us to our friends house. It was going so well with the food we had!
